Job summary

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) invites applications for a Senior Psychologist (AHP3) to support medical inpatient services. The role focuses on psychological assessment, intervention and consultation within a multidisciplinary team.

You must hold PsyBA registration with Clinical Psychology endorsement and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills. This is a temporary part-time position based at Lyell McEwin Hospital in Elizabeth Vale.

Qualifications

About the Role:

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is eager to recruit a Senior Psychologist to work in our dynamic, growing and supportive team, to help us deliver exceptional care to our community.

The Senior Psychologist (AHP3) is accountable to the Director, Clinical Operations for the provision of comprehensive assessment and treatment services for medical inpatient services within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN). The role will focus on psychological assessment, intervention and consultation. Working in conjunction with allied health staff members and other health professionals, the Senior Psychologist utilises highly specialised clinical skills in the management of complex clinical cases.

The Senior Psychologist applies clinical experience, increasing clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated services to the needs of clients of NALHN.

To be eligible for this position, you musthold general registration with the PsyBA and be endorsed in (Clinical Psychology) area of practice.
