Job summary

Matilda Nepean Private Hospital is seeking experienced Clinical Psychologists or Clinical Psychology Registrars to join our team in a casual capacity at Kingswood, NSW. Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA and postgraduate degree in clinical psychology (APS/ACPA eligibility or working towards).
• Experience building professional relationships with strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Competence in a wide range of psychological assessments and evidence‑based treatments delivered individually and/or in groups.
• Ability to work independently in patient/consumer‑focused care.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team to achieve service goals.
• Experience facilitating or co‑facilitating General Wellness, DBT and PTSD groups (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and treatments, individually or in groups.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Facilitate or co‑facilitate General Wellness, DBT and PTSD groups when needed.

Matilda Nepean is seeking experienced Clinical Psychologists or Clinical Psychology Registrars to join our team.

Casual

• Has a current registration with AHPRA and must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA or working towards this, supervision can be provided if needed.
• Has experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated competence in a wide range of psychological assessments and evidence based psychological treatments delivered on an individual and/or group basis
• Demonstrated experience working independently in the provision of patient/consumer-focused care
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes
• Experience facilitating or co-facilitating General Wellness, DBT and PTSD groups (desirable)
