Grand Pacific Health is seeking a Clinical Practice Lead to oversee the Medicare Mental Health Centre in Armidale. The role develops and guides evidence‑based mental health care, leads a multidisciplinary team and ensures timely access for consumers.

You will provide clinical oversight, supervise clinical pathways and drive service improvement while fostering a supportive, inclusive work culture and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Registration with Australian health board (AHPRA) or OTA/AASW accreditation.
• Experience delivering recovery‑oriented mental health services.

Job description

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, full-time positions have the option to enjoy the Rostered Day Off each month.

This position will primarily support our Medicare Mental Health Centre located on Armidale.

This position reports to the Service Manager and offers the opportunity to:

• Lead Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based mental health care.
• Provide Clinical Oversight: Support multidisciplinary teams in delivering effective assessments, therapies, and interventions.
• Manage Demand: Oversee service demand, waiting lists, and consumer support strategies.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

• Current full AHPRA registration as a registered psychologist, mental health nurse or occupational therapist (accredited with OTA as meeting the Australian Competency Standards for occupational therapists in mental health), or accreditation with the AASW as a mental health social worker
• Demonstrated advanced level mental health clinical experience in mental health service delivery with demonstrated skills and experience in providing a range of holistic, recovery-oriented, evidence-based therapeutic services.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and consultation skills to work effectively with all stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or supervision experience of a multidisciplinary team, including the facilitation of clinical review, development of clinical pathways and oversight of clinical performance of team members.
