Job summary

Canberra Health Services (CHS) is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join the Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Services team on-site at The Canberra Hospital. The role offers permanent full-time or part-time appointments, with a focus on advanced clinical pharmacy services for older adults and rehabilitation patients at CHS in Garran ACT.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, optimise medication management, and contribute to person-centred care across the rehabilitation

Salary: $101,976 - $128,816 (Plus 12.5% Super)
Location: The Canberra Hospital, Garran ACT

Canberra Health Services (CHS) is seeking a skilled, motivated, and patient-focused pharmacist to join our Rehabilitation and Aged Care Pharmacy Team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver advanced clinical pharmacy services across a diverse and rewarding patient population.

As part of the pharmacy team, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication management, improve patient outcomes, and support high-quality, person-centred care for older adults and patients undergoing rehabilitation.

Work in a Specialist Rehabilitation Facility: The University of Canberra Hospital (UCH) Specialist Centre for Rehabilitation, Recovery and Research is Canberra's first purpose-built rehabilitation hospital, providing care for patients recovering from surgery, injury, neurological conditions, and mental illness. The hospital has a strong focus on innovation, recovery, and research and includes 140 overnight inpatient beds, 75 day-places and additional outpatient services.

Professional Development: The CHS Pharmacy Department operates a successful AdPha Accredited Residency Program, an excellent intern program and several Registrar Training Residency Programs. You will have access to ongoing professional development, mentoring, teaching and research opportunities.

Innovative Practice: Be part of an innovative pharmacy department that continues to expand scope of practice and implement new models of care, including Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting, credentialed accuracy checking technicians and remote clinical pharmacy services.
