About the role

Facilitate communication between radiologists, breast physicians, surgeons, referring GPs and other provide.rs, and support multidisciplinary meetings.
Be a consistent, empathetic point of contact for patients, escalating matters that need medical advice.
Make sure referrals, results, correspondence, and follow‑up actions are accurately documented and tracked.
Contribute to clinical governance, accreditation, incident management, and quality improvement.
Coordinate workflows for our NT, ACT and Norfolk Island BreastScreen services and private collaborators.
Drive effective use of RIS/PACS and other clinical systems and identify opportunities to use digital and AI tools to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy and health records requirements.
Financial accountability for the performance of the clinic.
Business development - the capability to increase referral, and expand corporate and clinical partnerships.
About you
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare management or clinical operations.
Demonstrated experience coordinating complex, multidisciplinary clinical pathways.
Strong digital capability: confident with clinical software platforms such as RIS/PACS and practice management systems, and quick to learn new ones.
AI literacy: a practical understanding of how AI tools can support clinical administration and workflow, and awareness of their limits and privacy implications.
A genuine interest in, and commitment to, women’s healthcare.
A solid understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, privacy and documentation requirements.
Excellent communication, organisational and follow‑up skills, and the judgement to know when to elevate.
A nursing, radiography or other relevant clinical / healthcare qualification.
Experience in breast imaging, BreastScreen or diagnostic imaging services.
Familiarity with accreditation frameworks such as BreastScreen Australia National Accreditation Standards or DIAS.
Current AHPRA registration.
Experience providing culturally safe care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
Meaningful work in a specialist service that directly affects women’s health outcomes.
A collaborative, supportive team of experienced clinicians.
The opportunity to help shape how we use technology and AI in clinical operations.
