Job summary

Healthcare Unlimited Pty Limited – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Manager for Breast Imaging & Diagnostics. You will coordinate the patient journey across referral, imaging, pathology, diagnosis and follow-up, ensuring timely, safe, and well-documented pathways.

You’ll work closely with radiologists, breast physicians, nurses and clinicians, driving governance, digital tool adoption (RIS/PACS, AI assistants) and continuous quality improvement in a CBD clinic serving

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare management or clinical operations.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex multidisciplinary clinical pathways.
• AI literacy: understanding of how AI tools can support clinical administration and workflow.
• Genuine interest in women’s health.
• Understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, privacy and documentation requirements.
• Current AHPRA registration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient journey from referral through imaging, pathology, diagnosis and follow-up, resolving delays or gaps.
• Facilitate communication between radiologists, breast physicians, surgeons, referrers and other providers; support multidisciplinary meetings.
• Be a consistent, empathetic point of contact for patients, escalating medical advice when needed.
• Ensure referrals, results, correspondence and follow-up actions are accurately documented and tracked.
• Contribute to clinical governance, accreditation, incident management and quality improvement.
• Coordinate workflows for other BreastScreen services and private collaborators.
• Drive RIS/PACS and other clinical systems adoption; explore AI tools to improve efficiency and patient experience.
