Job summary

NSW Health seeks a suitably experienced Registered Nurse to join the Royal North Shore Hospital Patient Flow Unit as Capacity Co-ordinator. This part-time role (16 hours/week) covers a 7-day week until 12 April 2027, based within Nursing and Midwifery Operations.

AHPRA registration and acute care qualifications are required, with at least three years of relevant clinical experience. The successful candidate will lead in changes to improve service delivery, KPI understanding, and practical care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Post-registration qualification in acute care nursing, and at least three years’ experience in a relevant clinical area or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence based practice and practice development.
• Understanding of NSW Ministry of Health KPIs including HAT and TOC.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with the ability to work autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft applications and clinical systems.
