Darling Downs Hospital & Health Service – Dalby QLD is seeking a Clinical Nurse for School Based Youth Health. You will support the health and wellbeing of young people across the school community, collaborating with students, families, educators and health professionals to create positive outcomes beyond the classroom.

You will perform health assessments, provide advice and support, promote health literacy and build partnerships with schools and community services to coordinate comprehensive

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and health promotion skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with students, families and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Postgraduate study relevant to nursing, youth health or primary healthcare is a plus.

As a Clinical Nurse - School Based Youth Health Nurse, you'll support the health and wellbeing of young people across the school community. Working with students, families, educators and health professionals, you'll help create positive outcomes that extend beyond the classroom.
