Qualifications

• Advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills with recent acute nursing experience.
• Experience in workforce coordination, rostering, recruitment, staff performance and development processes.
• Strong clinical education and facilitation skills, with experience delivering training and supporting professional development of nursing staff.
• Highly developed communication, negotiation and leadership skills, with ability to build relationships, lead change and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical leadership, guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice and high standards of patient care.
• Coordinate workforce activities including rostering, recruitment, staffing, data collection and mandatory competency compliance.
• Support the development and delivery of clinical education, training and facilitation to build staff capability and promote continuous professional development.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, incident investigations and risk management activities to strengthen patient safety.
