APNA is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to serve as a Clinical Nurse Facilitator in the aged care sector. The primary role is to supervise, mentor, and support student nurses in APNA's Commonwealth funded Student Nurse Placement Aged Care program.

This position requires advanced skills in aged care nursing, leadership abilities, and a passion for shaping the future of nursing in the aged care sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree required.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in the aged care sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student nurses during their placement in aged care facilities.
• Demonstrate advanced skills and leadership in aged care nursing.
• Provide mentorship and support to student nurses.
• Ensure high-quality placement experience for students.
• Advocate for the value and respect of aged care nurses.
