Job summary

First Choice Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to transition into Clinical Facilitation, guiding nursing students during Gold Coast clinical placements. You’ll mentor, role-model and assess students to translate classroom learning into safe practice.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years RN experience, unrestricted AHPRA registration, and a Bachelor of Nursing. Casual hours with block placements of up to 4 weeks are available, plus opportunities for professional mentorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor of Nursing degree.
• Available to work casually and commit to block placements of up to 4 weeks.
• Strong communication skills and confidence guiding and assessing students.
• Strong written skills for completing student assessments and evaluations.
• Desirable: experience in Clinical Facilitation, teaching or training.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support nursing students during clinical placements.
• Provide mentorship and role-modeling to students.
• Assess and document student performance and progress.
• Collaborate with education providers and universities to coordinate placements.
