Job summary

Tasmanian Government, Launceston General Hospital, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for Ward 3D (525967). You will lead clinical education, mentor staff and coordinate education across a 32-bed general medical ward to support safe, high-quality patient care in a fixed-term, full-time role.

Applicants must be NMBA registered as a RN and have strong experience in clinical education and staff development, with excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Current NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in clinical education and staff development, mentoring, and ability to plan, deliver and evaluate programs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with multidisciplinary teams and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical education programs, mandatory training, orientation and ongoing development for nursing staff.
• Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate education and training; promote a learning and research culture.
• Maintain education records and contribute to quality improvement, patient safety and WHS initiatives.
