Job summary

Carramar Aged Care Facility in Leeton is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead evidence-based education, support nurses and midwives, and improve patient care within MLHD. The role includes developing education programs, leading orientation, partnering with clinical leaders, and promoting safety and quality.

Remuneration is around $124,273.70 to $128,301.89 per year plus super and 17.5% leave loading; up to 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a specialty area.
• Strong clinical teaching and facilitation skills, including competency assessment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adult learning principles.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and problem‑solving ability in a clinical setting.
• Current Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Inspiring and develop midwives through engaging education, coaching and bedside teaching.
• Lead orientation and transition programs to support new and transitioning staff.
• Partner with clinical leaders to identify learning needs and implement targeted education strategies.
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement and evidence-based practice through education and audit participation.
