Mid North Coast Local Health District in Coffs Harbour NSW is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator – Critical Care Paediatrics to strengthen capability across Paediatric and Critical Care services. You will lead education initiatives, provide expert clinical support and mentor nursing staff to deliver safe, evidence-based, family-centred care for critically unwell children.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration as an RN with postgraduate qualifications or equivalent; minimum three years

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Minimum three years’ paediatric critical care experience (PICU/ICU/ED/Retrieval or similar).
• Experience developing and delivering education programs, simulation and competency assessments.
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring and collaboration skills.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator – Critical Care Paediatrics to strengthen clinical capability across Paediatric and Critical Care services. Lead innovative education, provide expert clinical support and mentor nursing staff to deliver safe, evidence-based, family-centred care and achieve the best possible outcomes for critically unwell children.

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years’ recent paediatric critical care experience in PICU, ICU, Emergency, Retrieval or a similar setting.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering education programs, simulation and competency assessments.
• Strong clinical leadership, communication, mentoring and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement and patient safety.
