Job Q in Tasmania is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead education in the Palliative Care Unit. The role involves delivering targeted educational programs, mentoring nursing staff, and partnering with the Nursing Unit Manager to build a cohesive, person-centred care team.

The successful candidate will have AHPRA registration, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and a postgraduate palliative care qualification or active pursuit of one.

Qualifications

• Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and evaluate education programs.
• Ability to provide clinical leadership and act as a resource/mentoring for nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver educational programs in the Palliative Care Unit.
• Evaluate and report outcomes of education initiatives to Nurse Unit Manager.
• Collaborate with HammondCare Health Education Lead and clinical managers.
