Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse to deliver advanced community-based care in the Cassowary Area, focusing on early intervention, health promotion and family-centred support.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to promote healthy growth and wellbeing for children and families across the Cassowary Region, Babinda, Innisfail, Tully and Mission Beach communities.

• Strengthen community connections and work in partnership with government and non-government organisations to deliver coordinated, accessible, and responsive services for children and families.

CACH delivers person-centred community-based healthcare services to people living across the Cassowary Area including Babinda, Innisfail, Tully and Mission Beach and surrounds. The service focus is promoting health self-management, maintaining independence, reducing avoidable hospital admissions, and improving quality of life through a multidisciplinary team approach including Nursing, Allied Health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers, and Child Health professionals.
