Job summary

NSW Health in regional NSW invites applications for a Clinical Midwife Educator in Lachlan Maternity Unit. This permanent part-time role (8 hours per week) supports workforce development, leads education initiatives, promotes evidence-based practice and drives quality improvement across the division.

The successful candidate will work closely with midwives, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen care for women, babies and families in rural Parkes/Forbes.

As a Clinical Midwife Educator for Lachlan Maternity Unit you will play a pivotal role in building workforce capability, supporting professional development, and fostering a culture of excellence in maternity care.

Working closely with midwives, nurses and multidisciplinary teams, you will lead education initiatives, promote evidence-based practice, and support continuous quality improvement to enhance outcomes for women and families across the Lachlan region.
