Job summary

West Gippsland Healthcare Group in Warragul VIC is seeking a Clinical Maternity Educator to lead learning and development for maternity staff and students. You will identify, develop and deliver education programs to support excellence in woman-centred care.

Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, the CME will partner with the Maternity Unit Manager to build workforce capability, coordinate student placements, and drive evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

Registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Postgraduate qualifications in Midwifery or equivalent.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or willingness to obtain.
Demonstrated recent clinical experience across pregnancy and birth continuum.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
High-level clinical skills across pregnancy and birth continuum.
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and deliver learning opportunities for maternity staff and students.

Responsibilities

Provide educational leadership and guidance to maternity staff and students.
