Job summary

Talent Quarter is recruiting a Care Manager for an Aged Care facility near Laidley, Queensland. The role reports to the Facility Manager and will lead the clinical team, monitor KPIs, education and compliance to meet high clinical standards tailored to residents' needs.

The successful candidate will oversee clinical staff, drive policy adherence, and coordinate care plans for residents with diverse healthcare needs in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Health, Welfare, Nursing or Social Sciences.
• Experience with Aged Care accreditation and clinical standards.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding and policy protocols.
• Show an ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision.
• Interpret work within the relevant policy guidelines.
• Understand the needs of older people, including those with cognitive decline.

About the Aged Care provider:

The 95 bed, fully accredited Aged Care facility is based 30 minutes outsode of Laidley, Queensland region leading a passionate Aged Care team that are focussed on delivering high-quality care.

About the role:

The Care Manager will report into the Facility Manager and will help monitor, clinical KPI's, education and compliance, lead the clinical team to meet high clinical standards that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the clinical care staff team.

Duties:

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding and policy protocols.
• Show an ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision.
• Interpret work within the relevant policy guidelines
• Understand the needs of older people, in particular those with cognitive decline

Skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Health, Welfare, Nursing or Social Sciences
• Experience in Aged Care accreditation and the clinical standards, dementia and challenging behaviours
• Experience in working closely with multidisciplinary teams
