Job summary

The University of Canberra in Bruce, ACT, invites applications for a Clinical Liaison Nurse. You will support Bachelor and Master of Nursing students during their Professional Experience Placement, acting as the vital link between students, clinical settings, and the University.

Regular travel to Canberra locations is required; a current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential. This is a full-time continuing professional role with salary range $116,009–$129,394 plus 17%

Qualifications

AHPRA registered nurse with current practice credentials.
Recent clinical experience in general nursing settings.
Experience delivering education and facilitating group learning initiatives.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including digital systems.
Ability to manage diverse situations with professionalism, discretion and empathy.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and support nursing students on Professional Experience Placement (PEP) in diverse health care facilities.
Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and clinical leaders.
Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback and target additional development needs.
Ensure high-quality placement experiences aligned with university and industry expectations.
