Job summary

SA Health's Lyell McEwin Hospital seeks a Senior Pharmacist Team Leader Dispensary to lead a busy dispensary, guiding pharmacists, assistants, technicians and admin staff to deliver safe, patient-centred care. You will mentor staff, review practice, and implement medication management policies in collaboration with clinical partners.

Unconditional registration with AHPRA is required; temporary full-time contract until 27 October 2027 with a seven-day roster.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Hold or be eligible for Pharmacy Board of Australia registration.
• Bring extensive hospital pharmacy and team leadership experience.
• Lead staff development, change and service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dispensary team delivering a safe, responsive pharmacy service.
• Mentor pharmacists, assistants, technicians and administrative staff.
• Collaborate with clinicians and pharmacy leaders to implement medication management policies.
• Drive staff development and service improvements.
