Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Pharmacist for Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals. You will provide clinical pharmacy, dispensing and medicines advice, taking medication histories and counselling patients to support safe, effective treatment.

You will collaborate with doctors, nurses and pharmacy staff to improve patient outcomes and continuity of care, contributing to teaching and quality improvement across SA Pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent; eligible for Pharmacy Board registration.
• Completed hospital or community preregistration training.
• Apply pharmacy knowledge with accuracy and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy, dispensing and medicines advice services to patients.
• Take medication histories and review treatment to ensure safe, effective use.
• Counsel patients and carers to support continuity of care between hospital and community.
• Share knowledge with interns and contribute to research and quality improvement.
