Job summary

Lumia Care in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Clinical Facilitator to support the development of the next generation of nurses. You will supervise, mentor and support student nurses on clinical placements with Pop-Up Health, building knowledge, confidence and practical skills.

The role is a clinical leadership and teaching position, working with students, clinical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, engaging and well-managed placements.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Current SA Driver's Licence

• Confirm and accurately document students' completed clinical hours.

• Communicate effectively with students, clinical teams and office staff.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse - Clinical Facilitator to join our South Australian team and support the development of the next generation of nurses. In this role, you will supervise, mentor and support student nurses during their clinical placements with Pop-Up Health, helping them build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills required for professional nursing practice. This is more than a supervision role — you will be a clinical role model and leader, creating a positive learning environment, identifying development opportunities and providing constructive feedback. You will work closely with students, clinical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure placements are safe, engaging and well managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support student nurses throughout their clinical placements.

About You

We are looking for a confident, approachable and experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys developing others and can provide strong clinical leadership.

You Will Have

• Bachelor of Nursing - essential.
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Broad clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in clinical teaching, student supervision or adult learning is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical judgement, assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and confidently manage challenging situations.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly.
• A positive, professional and supportive approach to student development.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - desirable.
