Job summary

First Choice Care is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to move into teaching and education as Clinical Facilitators in our Sydney team. You will support nursing students through their placements, helping them develop practical, hands-on skills they'll carry into their careers.

The role emphasizes mentoring across clinical teams, educators, and students, with a focus on strong communication, written assessments, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor of Nursing.
• Completion (or current enrolment) in the Clinical Facilitation: Essential Skills and Principles short course.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across clinical teams, educators, and students.
• Solid written skills for student assessments and documentation.
• Cert IV in Training & Assessment, previous teaching or facilitation experience, or a completed preceptorship.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing students through their placements and help them develop practical, hands-on skills.
• Mentor and guide students across clinical teams, educators, and students.
• Document student assessments and maintain records.
