Job summary

Benetas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our People, Culture and Diversity team as Clinical Education Lead on a full-time fixed-term contract to 31 December 2026. The role drives a competency assessment framework across 13 aged care homes and our Community Health and Care teams, strengthening clinical capability and ensuring safe, person-centred care.

Qualifications

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and willingness to travel regularly.
Experience in aged care clinical practice, clinical education or related area.
Experience designing, coordinating or implementing competency assessment frameworks and education resources.
Experience using a train-the-trainer or similar capability-building approach.
Ability to translate clinical/regulatory requirements into clear education solutions.
Strong communication, facilitation and coaching skills.
Excellent organisational skills to manage priorities in a fixed-term project.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement Benetas’ competency assessment rollout across 13 aged care homes and Community Health teams.
Review competency requirements and identify education methods, tools and resources.
Develop an implementation plan with milestones, risks, and stakeholder responsibilities.
Implement a train-the-trainer approach to build capability among clinical leaders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor solutions to site contexts.
Create facilitator guides, assessment tools, learning resources and documentation.
Support Learning Needs Analysis, site learning plans and clinical forums.
