Job summary

Western District Health Service in Hamilton, VIC, AU is seeking expressions of interest for a part-time Clinical Support Nurse (Aged Care) to join the Education Centre. The role focuses on supervising and mentoring Graduate Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses, delivering bedside coaching and leading education sessions to build confidence and clinical capability.

This locum assignment runs from 4 August 2026 for six months, with shifts across days and nights.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration in Australia.
• Experience mentoring or educating junior nurses.
• Experience in aged care preferred.
• Ability to deliver education sessions and clinical coaching.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Graduate Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in aged care.
• Deliver bedside coaching and education sessions.
• Promote evidence-based practice and support a learning culture.
• Coordinate with Education Centre for ongoing training.
