Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience in providing clinical leadership and supervising university students on placement.

  • Excellent administrative, interpersonal, verbal and organisational skills with ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Experience in coordinating projects and managing milestones using information systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement frameworks to support equity students in clinical placements.
  • Provide mentoring and educator capability building for staff and partners.
  • Create safe, supportive learning environments aligned with health determinants of care.

  • Based in the Adelaide University Health Clinics - Elizabeth
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed term contract until 31 December 2027
  • Salary Range: $103,917 – $116,002 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

This role will contribute to the delivery of an inclusive, culturally responsive placement experience for equity students at AU Health Clinics (Elizabeth). The role provides the dedicated expertise required to design and implement frameworks that support low SES, regional/remote, disability, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health students to succeed in clinical placements. This includes enhanced mentoring, educator capability building, and creating safe, supportive learning environments that align with the clinic's social determinants of health model of care.

  • Industry, Government and Community groups in the Northern Adelaide region

Experience

  • Experience in providing clinical leadership and supervising university students on placement, with knowledge of clinical education processes
  • Experience in, and a commitment, to contemporary healthcare practice, including recent and relevant clinical practice
  • Experience in developing culturally safe and inclusive resources
  • Proven ability to demonstrate strong written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Excellent administrative, interpersonal, verbal, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Experience in project management, including coordinating activities to deliver project milestones, including the use of administrative information systems and Microsoft Office programs
