Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Clinical Consultant for Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney. You will drive patient growth and clinical outcomes for the Impella product line, a world’s smallest percutaneous heart pump, in a commercially-minded clinical role.

Ideal candidates have extensive cardiac care experience, track record of complex case management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Travel up to 50% and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Clinical or technical degree in critical/intensive care, perfusion, or nursing.
• 5+ years of clinical experience, with 2+ years in industry.
• Experience in critical care, cardiac surgery, or mechanical circulatory support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site clinical expertise for Impella implanting centers.
• Ensure optimal patient outcomes through best-practice consultation.
• Manage training programs for new and existing accounts.
• Develop site superusers in Protected PCI and Cardiogenic Shock treatment.
• Advise on protocol adoption and analyse institutional needs.
• Drive patient growth and outcomes through direct customer relationships.
• Educate stakeholders on hemodynamic support and clinical data.
• Expand referral base and assist in program development.
• Develop relationships with key opinion leaders.
• Stay current on relevant literature and emerging trends.

The Opportunity

Join Abiomed at J&J as a Clinical Consultant for Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydneyh.

You’ll drive patient growth and clinical outcomes for our innovative Impella product line, the world’s smallest percutaneous heart pumps.
