As a Trainee Clinical Coder, you will learn how to assign accurate and timely clinical codes to patient episodes of care through detailed analysis of medical records. You will receive formal training and day-to-day guidance from our Health Information Services (HIS) team across Mater Hospital North Sydney, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney and Griffith Hospital. This is a full-time development role that provides a pathway to a professional career in clinical coding, working within a supportive and highly skilled national team. At St Vincent’s gain exposure to coding software technology utilising a hybrid EMR across all sites combined with a coding management software platform that supports assigning codes using the industry recognised Solventum Codefinder.
