Job summary

NewDirection Care in Bellmere, Queensland is seeking a hands-on Clinical Care Manager to guide clinical governance and quality across the community. You will work with RNs and care teams to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.

You will lead governance, coach staff, identify risks and drive improvements while maintaining strong relationships with families, GPs and allied health professionals. The role reports to the General Manager and supports strategic success.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an RN and Bachelor of Nursing.
• Significant clinical leadership experience in residential aged care.
• Strong knowledge of aged care quality standards and governance.
• Understanding of AN-ACC funding and its impact on operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance, quality, safety and compliance for the Bellmere community.
• Coach and develop clinical and care teams to improve performance.
• Identify clinical risks and ensure timely interventions.
• Drive financial and operational performance, including occupancy and rostering.
• Strengthen collaboration with GPs and allied health through PCS.
• Build resident and family relationships and contribute to strategy.
