Job summary

RSL LifeCare's Narrabeen aged care home is seeking a Clinical Care Manager to lead clinical care delivery for 75 residents, oversee nursing and care teams, and uphold the facility's governance and quality standards.

You will drive patient-centered care, foster an inclusive culture, deliver ongoing staff education, and strengthen links with local health and community groups while supporting cost management initiatives with the Facility Manager.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration required.
• Minimum 5 years' postgraduate clinical experience in health care or aged care.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance.
• Strong person-centred approach to clinical care.
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy and strong relationships.
• Ability to balance commercial outcomes with patient experience.
• Experience motivating teams and managing performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound financial acumen with budget management experience.

About the Role:

As the Clinical Care Manager at our Aged Care home in Narrabeen, you will assume clinical leadership responsibility for the delivery of high-quality care and care planning for our 75 residents.

You will be accountable for the supervision of nursing and care teams, management of the clinical governance framework and play a key role in the quality improvement cycle for our facility.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to:

• Deliver exceptional clinical care - medical/rehabilitative, dementia and restorative
• Elevate lifestyle, wellbeing, social connection, and care for our residents
• Demonstrate leadership in embedding quality and safety as a key focus
• Establish operating rhythms with team members to create an open and inclusive culture
• Support and enable the development of Clinical and Care teams by
• providing hands‑on education and training and identify opportunities for growth
• Promote the profile of RSL LifeCare in the local area by building relationships with health and community groups
• Support the Facility Manager to ensure Clinical and Care labour cost‑management initiatives are fully adopted

About You:

To be considered for this position, we are seeking people who have:

• A current AHPRA registration
• A minimum 5 years’ postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care, or another relevant environment
• Experience managing compliance with regulatory standards
• Sound understanding of person‑centred approaches to clinical care and support
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and ability to build meaningful relationships
• Demonstrated ability to make good decisions which balance commercial outcomes with customer experience
• Experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering on accountabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Sound financial acumen as evidenced by prior budget management experience
