Randstad seeks an experienced Clinical Care Manager to lead the clinical operations of an aged care home in the Geelong region. You will report to the Facility Manager and drive clinical governance, care planning, and team leadership with a person‑centred care approach.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, 3+ years in clinical leadership in Australian aged care, and knowledge of AN-ACC, SIRS, and Aged Care Quality Standards. Full-time on-site role with local rights.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration: Current, unrestricted RN registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum 3+ years in clinical leadership/management roles (e.g., Clinical Care Manager, Care Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultant).
• Hands-on Australian residential aged care experience and knowledge of AN-ACC, SIRS, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Must have Australian working rights; no sponsorship for overseas applicants.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain before starting.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and compassionate Clinical Care Manager to lead the clinical operations of our aged care home in the greater Geelong region.

Working full-time, Monday to Friday, you will report directly to the Facility Manager and take primary ownership of clinical governance, care planning, and clinical team leadership. This position is ideal for an accomplished Registered Nurse who champions person-centered care, demonstrates solid regulatory compliance, and knows how to mentor nursing and care staff to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of the facility to ensure the delivery of high-quality, dignified care.

• Lead, mentor, and support Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Care Assistants.

• Manage complex clinical cases, palliative pathways, wound care, and medication governance.

• Ensure ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and participate actively in accreditation processes.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, care planning reviews, and AN-ACC clinical documentation.

• Act as a senior point of contact for residents, family members, GPs, and allied health professionals.

• Monitor clinical indicators (falls, skin integrity, infection control, psychotropic medication use) and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• AHPRA Registration: Current, unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

• Leadership Experience: Minimum 3+ years of clinical leadership/management experience (e.g., Clinical Care Manager, Care Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultant, or Senior Clinical Care Coordinator).

• Australian Aged Care Experience: Substantial, hands‑on experience within the Australian residential aged care sector is essential. You must have a sound understanding of Australian aged care legislation, AN-ACC funding, SIRS reporting, and the Aged Care Quality Standards.

• On‑Shore Requirement: Candidates must currently reside in Australia with full, unrestricted working rights. Please note: Overseas applicants, offshore applications, or requests for visa sponsorship will not be considered for this position.

• Availability: Full‑time commitment, Monday to Friday.

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check / National Police Check (Aged Care clearance), or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
