Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) in Adelaide is seeking a Clinical Bioinformatician to apply genomic and computational skills to pathogen genomics within the Public Health and Epidemiology Laboratory. You will contribute to sequencing analysis, data interpretation and reporting to clinicians and public health teams.

The role offers opportunities for training, collaboration with experienced colleagues and involvement in innovative methods while supporting staff development and research

Formación

• Analytical skills for laboratory data retrieval and processing.
• Knowledge of microbiology and laboratory quality procedures.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to whole genome sequencing and analysis of clinical and epidemiological data.
• Review results for analytical validity and assist in preparing laboratory reports.
• Support diagnostic testing and contribute to development and adoption of new methods.
• Assist in staff training and research to build expertise in microbiology and pathogen genomics.
