Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager to join its Climate Change and Sustainability Services team in Sydney. You will lead multidisciplinary engagements across industries, focusing on sustainability reporting, emissions assurance, and climate strategy.

The role offers flexible hours and a collaborative culture in a market-leading team. The position requires consulting experience, engineering or science degrees, and demonstrated expertise in climate risk, decarbonisation, and relevant legislation.

Qualifications

• Professional services/consulting experience.
• Engineering, maths or physics qualification.
• Experience in climate change services.
• Experience in GHG accounting.
• Experience in reporting and/or assurance of greenhouse gas emissions.
• Knowledge of National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act and related legislation.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across industries to manage and report on sustainability and climate risks.
• Delivery of assurance of non-financial reporting, including sustainability metrics and emissions reporting.
• Contribute to strategies, methodologies, and tools to navigate regulatory environments.
• Assist clients to develop sustainability strategies, targets, and implementation plans.
• Assist in climate scenario analysis to define short- and long-term objectives.
