Job summary

Bluestonerecruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a large consultancy in Sydney. You will manage projects from planning through completion, coordinating clients, consultants and contractors across live environments and social/educational sectors.

The role offers flexibility with work-from-home arrangements, a balance-focused culture and a CBD-aligned location with easy transport access. Strong communication and 5+ years in project management are expected.

Qualifications

About the Company

Our client is a large, established consultancy specialising in project management across live and operational environments.

They work across a range of sectors, with a strong focus on social housing, tertiary education and other community-focused projects. Their project portfolio includes new build developments, refurbishments and upgrades, often delivered within occupied or operational environments.

The business has a stable pipeline of work, strong employee tenure and an experienced management team. They have built a supportive working environment where people are trusted to deliver their work without the expectation of regularly working overtime.

They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team.

About the Role

You will manage a range of projects from planning through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors.

The role will give you exposure to new build and refurbishment projects across social housing and tertiary education, as well as other community-focused assets. Projects vary in size and complexity, with the live environment aspect adding an additional layer of coordination and stakeholder management.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, procurement and delivery.
• Coordinating consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Managing new build and refurbishment works within live environments.
• Providing clear project reporting and advice to clients.

Experience Required

• 5+ years' experience in project management within construction, property or consultancy.
• Experience delivering new build and/or refurbishment projects.
• Experience working within live or operational environments.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Property or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
