Job summary

GMB Financial, a Townsville-based financial planning practice, is seeking a friendly front desk administrator to greet clients in person and over the phone and keep the admin side running smoothly from day one.

This hands-on role offers variety and real responsibility, with opportunities to be involved in client onboarding, appointment bookings, paperwork, and liaison with product providers, all from our Hyde Park office.

Qualifications

• People person with warm, genuine demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and compliance.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Reliable, organised and efficient.
• Genuine interest in helping people; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients in person and managing phone and email enquiries
• Booking and managing appointments and adviser diaries
• Preparing client documents, correspondence and paperwork
• Liaising with insurance companies on applications, underwriting and claims
• Following up with product providers and institutions on client matters
• Maintaining accurate client records and files
• Processing paperwork and tracking client requests through to completion
• General office administration and support for our advisers
