Job summary

Hedley Scott, a well-established Sydney CBD chartered accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Client Service Coordinator to support a 20-accountant business services team.

Based in the Sydney CBD office opposite Town Hall Station, the role offers genuine scope to grow, including exposure to ASIC and company secretarial work, with a friendly, close-knit culture and a clear path for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Client Service Coordinator or practice administration role within an accounting firm
• Experience collating tax returns and liaising with the ATO (advantage)
• Exposure to ASIC company secretarial work is highly regarded but not essential
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow up with busy accountants

Responsibilities

• Managing the centralised CSC inbox and coordinating outsourced tax return preparation
• Quality-checking completed work before it goes back to the accountant
• Preparing documents for client signing via DocuSign
• Following up WIP, debtors, billings and engagement letters
• Covering reception on a rostered basis, including lunch cover and mail collection
• Providing ASIC and company secretarial support as required
• Building strong working relationships across the accounting teams
