Job summary

Ozcare Malanda Aged Care Facility in Queensland's Tablelands is hiring two part-time Client Services Assistants to join our caring team. You will help look after the most important people in our organisation by assisting with meals, cleaning, laundry, and general dining area duties.

Qualifications

• Be vaccinated against influenza and at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
• Current Police Screening Certificate.
• Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
• Experience assisting frail aged persons.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation as directed by the Cook.
• Clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals and as required.
• Perform laundry tasks and related duties.
• Clean the Facility with attention to WH&S requirements.

Making the most of its rural setting, our Ozcare Malanda Aged Care Facility features plentiful vegetable patches and stimulating sensory gardens. With lots of beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy, we even have our very own bowling and putting green too and are looking for 2 part-time Client Service Assistants to join the team.

Your Role

As a Client Services Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Assist with the preparation of meals by performing tasks allocated by the Cook (where applicable)
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals, or when required
• Perform tasks associated with the provision of laundry services
• Perform tasks associated with cleaning of the Facility with particular emphasis on areas where Workplace Health & Safety matters often arise toilets, floors etc.

Role Requirements
