Job summary

Centacare is seeking a motivated Client Services Officer for a full-time Fixed Term Contract -12 months within Home Safety Services. You will be the first point of contact for clients and referrers, handling enquiries, intake, assessments, and coordinating appointments.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail and the ability to work across internal teams. Browns Plains location with a flexible hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administration or community services.
• Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or related field (desirable).
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and detailed records.

About the role: Centacare is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Client Services Officer for a full‑time position and a Fixed Term Contract -12 months within our Home Safety Services team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and referrers, managing service enquiries, completing client intake and assessments, coordinating appointments, and supporting the delivery of home maintenance and modification services.

Location: Browns Plains

Employment: Fixed Term Contract -12 months & Permanent full time

Days: Full time Monday to Friday

Remuneration: $50.03ph + Super + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, empathetic, and efficient customer service to clients, referrers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Receive, assess, prioritise, and action client enquiries and requests for home maintenance and modification services.
• Complete client intake, assessments, and service allocations in line with client needs and program requirements.
• Coordinate service bookings by scheduling Field Officers and liaising with Contractors to support timely service delivery.
• Prepare work requests, job sheets, and service documentation while monitoring service requirements and expenditure.
• Process and maintain accurate client records, case notes, operational notes, and data entry within client management systems.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate effective service delivery.
• Ensure confidentiality, compliance requirements, and workplace health and safety obligations are maintained.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administration, client coordination, or community service environments.
• Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or a related field (desirable).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and high attention to detail skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and confidence using client management systems.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a busy, collaborative team environment.
• Valid driver’s licence, paid Blue Card, paid Yellow Card, National Police Certificate, and right to work in Australia.
