Job summary

Hoban Recruitment is seeking a customer-focused Service Coordinator to manage hospital consignment inventory and ensure product availability across Victoria. This autonomous, field-based role involves frequent travel between metropolitan and regional hospital sites and coordinating urgent deliveries to support patient procedures.

You will act as the primary operational contact for hospital procurement, supply chain, and clinical teams, handling stocktakes, ERP tasks, and stock replenishment

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in customer or client services, inventory, logistics or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of stocktakes, inventory reconciliation, cycle counting and order-fulfilment processes.
• Experience managing batch, lot, serial and expiry-controlled products.
• Strong ERP experience, with NetSuite highly regarded.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder-management skills.
• Autonomy to work independently and manage changing priorities.
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Manage consignment inventory across assigned Victorian hospital accounts.
• Conduct routine and ad-hoc physical stocktakes and update inventory records after visits.
• Monitor stock levels, movements, batch/lot details, expiry dates and product availability.
• Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies, missing products and expired inventory.
• Coordinate replenishment, stock rotation and corrective actions for slow-moving, excess or expiring products.
• Act as the primary operational contact for hospital supply chain and procurement teams.
• Build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders and provide onsite support.

We are seeking a customer-focused Service Coordinatorto manage hospital consignment inventory and support product availability across Victoria. This is an autonomous, hands-on role suited to someone with experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, inventory control or field-based supply chain operations.

About the Role

Working primarily across hospital sites, you will act as the key operational contact for hospital procurement, supply chain and clinical teams. You will manage consignment stock, conduct stocktakes, coordinate urgent deliveries and ensure critical products are available when required for patient procedures.

The position involves frequent driving between metropolitan and regional hospital sites, with administrative tasks completed remotely while working in the field.

• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently between hospital sites.
