Job summary

Moore Australia SA is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to take ownership of end-to-end bookkeeping across a portfolio of clients. You will work hands-on with transactions, manage client relationships and guide a small bookkeeping team to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, BAS/IAS preparation, and financial statements using Xero and MYOB, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping or finance administration within an accounting firm or consulting environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Experience using accounting software XERO and MYOB, and proficiency in Excel.

We are seeking an established Bookkeeper looking for a senior opportunity, who will take ownership of end-to-end bookkeeping requirements across a portfolio of clients.About the role
As an experienced Client Finance Officer, you will work with a portfolio of clients, getting hands-on and servicing their end-to-end bookkeeping requirements. In this collaborative role, you will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our clients’ daily transactions. You will manage transactions in Xero and MYOB, maintain strong client relationships, and provide guidance to a small bookkeeping team, and ensure compliance requirements are met.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing accounts receivable/payable
• Managing debt collection processes
• Preparation of Profit and Loss statements & reporting
• Preparation of Balance Sheets
• Conducting end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliations, including superannuation, payroll tax and WorkCover
• Preparing BAS/IAS for review and lodgement

About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience working in a similar role, including bookkeeping, financial administration, or of a finance officer within an accounting firm/consulting environment. Ideally, you will have the ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, experience using accounting software (XERO & MYOB), and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and organisational skills, enabling them to produce accurate work within set deadlines. Additionally, you will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.Application information
