Job summary

Moore Australia SA is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to take ownership of end-to-end bookkeeping across a portfolio of clients. You will work hands-on with transactions, manage client relationships and guide a small bookkeeping team to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, BAS/IAS preparation, and financial statements using Xero and MYOB, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping or finance administration within an accounting firm or consulting environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Experience using accounting software XERO and MYOB, and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounts receivable/payable.
• Managing debt collection processes.
• Preparation of Profit and Loss statements and reporting.
• Preparation of Balance Sheets.
• End-to-end payroll processing and reconciliations, including superannuation, payroll tax and WorkCover.
• Preparing BAS/IAS for review and lodgement.
