Job summary

efex is seeking a technically confident Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Sydney team. You will work with sales, customers, and vendors to understand requirements, design tailored IT solutions, and demonstrate business value from efex offerings.

In this role you’ll guide discovery through to solution design and handover, ensuring alignment and achievable delivery. The position emphasizes collaboration, communication and delivering real outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Pre-Sales consultant or similar technical solutions role.
• Strong ability to generate, propose and present technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain language.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to work collaboratively with sales and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support across Networking, Cloud, Voice, Security, and hosted services.
• Partner with Account Managers to scope and develop tailored IT solutions.
• Gather and analyse customer requirements, working closely with sales, vendors, and clients.
• Design and propose innovative technical solutions aligned with the efex product stack.
• Build bills of materials (BOMs) and supporting solution documentation.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
