Talent in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Data & AI Consultant to drive technical delivery while working directly with clients. You will engage in data engineering, BI, cloud and applied AI initiatives, shaping solutions from discovery to delivery.

The role involves Python/SQL development, Azure and Fabric expertise, API integration and strong consulting capabilities. Hybrid Melbourne CBD work environment and varied projects offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python/SQL development with Linux fundamentals.
• Experience with Azure and Microsoft Fabric in data engineering contexts.
• Experience designing BI or data platform solutions with business outcomes.
• Strong consulting and client-facing communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and integrate data, cloud, BI and applied AI solutions aligned to client requirements.
• Develop solutions using Python and SQL, including data processing and automation.
• Work across Azure and Fabric, supporting modern data platforms and analytics.
• Develop and integrate APIs and connected services across client environments.
• Engage directly with clients to gather requirements and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Own delivery from discovery through design, development, troubleshooting and implementation.
