Job summary

NAB Melbourne is seeking a Client Director, Professional Services to lead a highly specialised portfolio of legal and insolvency clients, focusing on deposits, transactional banking and liquidity solutions. You will work closely with the Business Banking Executive to shape strategy, provide day-to-day leadership across the team and act as an escalation point for key partners.

Qualifications

• Seasoned business banking or relationship management experience supporting complex professional or commercial customers.
• Experience within legal or insolvency banking would be highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen, credit capability and knowledge of transactional banking, deposits and liquidity management.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of high-value legal/insolvency customers with deposit, liquidity and lending solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and referral partners, identify new business opportunities.
• Partner with the Business Banking Executive to shape and execute business strategy, drive portfolio growth.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and escalation support to colleagues.
• Use industry insights to simplify processes and create practical solutions that improve outcomes.
• Maintain a strong focus on financial crime, operational and credit risk, portfolio quality and profitability.

• Strong commercial acumen, credit capability and knowledge of transactional banking,depositsand liquidity management solutions.

• Strong business development expertise and the ability to identify, originate and convert new opportunities.
