Job summary

FNZ is seeking a Senior Client/Relationship Director in Australia to own the end-to-end delivery and growth of a portfolio of financial services clients. You will lead strategic customer engagement and oversee platform services delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in client leadership, account management or strategic customer-facing roles within financial services, wealth platforms or fintech.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience identifying growth opportunities and delivering revenue outcomes within existing client portfolios.
  • Experience leading complex client engagements including technology, operational or business change initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities and drive outcomes across teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with track record of high client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of platform, investment administration, custody, wealth management or superannuation services is advantageous.
  • Able to analyse complex business challenges, mitigate risks and make sound commercial decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills with executive and board-level engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary relationship owner and escalation point for a portfolio of customers.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

  • Monitor customer risks, service issues and regulatory obligations, ensuring actions are resolved within agreed timeframes.
  • Manage customer audits, reviews and reporting requirements, including timely closure of findings and risk events.

Job description

Our Client Directors are accountable for the overall success of FNZ's relationship with its customers, ensuring high-quality delivery of both project and operational services while maximising revenue growth and commercial outcomes.


The role is responsible for customer satisfaction, the ongoing growth and development of customer platforms, and partnering with clients to support their strategic objectives. This includes overseeing the successful delivery of technology and business change programmes, ensuring product, investment administration, custody and technology support services meet contractual service standards, and driving enhancement and service revenue opportunities across the portfolio.


The responsibilities will include:

  • Strong understanding of platform, investment administration, custody, wealth management or superannuation services would be highly regarded.

  • Ability to analyse complex business challenges, mitigate risks and make sound commercial decisions.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging at executive and Board level.

  • A collaborative and pragmatic approach, with the ability to lead through influence, drive accountability and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
