Job summary

Mylestones in Mackay and surrounding areas is seeking a client coordinator to support a team helping people with disabilities into sustainable employment. You will guide the client journey from intake to job placement, coordinating staff, and delivering individualised preparation and job search activities.

You will work with the Marketing Officer to create marketing strategies and promote placements, ensuring effective collaboration with employers and staff to maximise outcomes and client

Qualifications

• Passion for people and delivering great outcomes.
• Excellent listening and respectful communication skills.
• Valid C class driving licence.
• Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check required (we can help).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employment services staff to achieve outcomes for a caseload of individual clients in Open Employment.
• Collaborate with Marketing Officer to develop, document, and implement high quality marketing strategies.
• Promote and organise job placements for participants with employers.
• Support staff and participants to maximise integration and goals in job plans.

What would I be doing?

As a client coordinator you will support a team of employment services staff that assist a client's journey from intake to employment/program exit. You will also be supporting staff perform individualised employment preparation, job search, marketing, and placement of people with disability to sustainable long-term employment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Coordinating employment services staff to achieve appropriate outcomes for a caseload of individual clients in Open Employment.
• Working with the Marketing Officer to develop, document, and implement high quality marketing strategies.
• Promoting and organising job placement for participants in collaboration with the Marketing Officer.
• Working with other employment service staff, employers, and participants by providing support to maximise integration, development, and achievement of goals set out in job plans.
