Job summary

Ayan Infotech is seeking a Data Fabric Architect for a long-term contract in Sydney, 100% onsite. The role requires 10+ years in data architecture and 3+ years with Cloud Data Platforms and Microsoft Fabric.

You will design enterprise data architectures, define data models, and lead migrations to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring governance, security, and cost efficiency while enabling self-service BI with Power BI.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data & Analytics Architecture with 3+ years on Cloud Data Platforms and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience designing enterprise data architectures and data governance frameworks.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to drive architecture discussions with stakeholders.
• On-site Sydney presence and Australian work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data architecture using Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Intelligence, Semantic Models, Power BI).
• Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models and establish Bronze-Silver-Gold patterns.
• Architect batch, streaming, and event-driven ingestion; build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Lead migrations from legacy platforms to Microsoft Fabric and optimize Fabric workloads.
