Job summary

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Cleansing Services Supervisor to lead a busy Local Government cleansing team in Chatswood. The role covers Wednesday-Sunday shifts, including afternoon/evening on weekdays and weekend daytime events, with hands-on supervision of frontline staff and rostering responsibilities.

You will coordinate labour, plant and materials, monitor performance and safety, maintain records, and liaise with residents and internal stakeholders.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Hours

The proposed roster is primarily Wednesday to Sunday:

• Wednesday–Friday: approximately 12:00pm–8:30pm

• Saturday–Sunday: daytime operations and event coverage, potentially within a similar span

Please note that shift times are indicative and may vary depending on operational and event requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience supervising frontline operational teams.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate, motivate and support staff.

• Experience managing daily workloads, rosters and operational priorities.

• A strong commitment to WHS and safe work practices.

• Good communication, organisation and conflict-management skills.

• Confidence dealing with staff, contractors and members of the public.

• Reasonable computer skills and the ability to maintain operational records.

• A good level of physical fitness.

• Current Class C Driver Licence – essential.

• Availability to work the required Wednesday–Sunday roster.

Experience within Local Government, waste, cleansing, civil, parks, facilities or another similar operational environment would be highly regarded.

An MR licence, heavy plant tickets and/or experience with street sweepers, scrubbers or vacuum cleansing equipment would also be advantageous.
