Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Limited operates Sydney Adventist Hospital, known as the San, and seeks casual cleaners to maintain patient rooms and ward areas. You will follow cleaning procedures to ensure a safe, hygienic environment and interact with patients and staff in a professional manner.

These roles offer shift times from 7am to 10pm, Monday through Sunday, with a requirement to be available for 3–5 shifts per week consistently.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in healthcare or hospital settings is highly regarded, but not essential.
• Clear and professional communication with patients, visitors and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Strong organizational skills and task management.
• Understanding of WHS safety and hygiene standards.

What you will be doing in this role

In this role, you’ll help maintain patient rooms and ward areas to a high standard, working across both clinical and non-clinical environments. Following established cleaning procedures, you’ll contribute to a safe, hygienic and comfortable space for patients, staff and the broader community.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team, while also taking ownership of your responsibilities day-to-day. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a customer-first mindset - interacting with patients, visitors and colleagues in a professional, respectful and approachable way.

These are casual roles with various shift times between 7am - 10pm, Mon-Sun. You'll need to be available for 3-5 shifts per week consistently.

• Cleaning experience (healthcare or hospital experience is highly regarded, but not essential)

• You'll need to be consistently available for 3-5 shifts varying in times each week Mon – Sun.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently
